1:1 Private Tutoring

Calling Dr. Math also offers test prep instruction at both the high-school entrance and college-entrance exam levels. Dr. Math’s students have been accepted at West Point, UC Berkeley, UCLA, Boston College, the University of Chicago, and many more esteemed institutions.
A Calling Dr. Math tutor can meet with your student’s instructor to identify specific challenges and to create a tutoring plan for 1:1 personalized instruction and services that are completely tailored to fit your needs.
IEP & 504 Plans
Understanding and retaining fundamental mathematics skills and principles can lay the foundation for success in life's endeavors. Working with the student, teacher and parents, our highly skilled tutors can identify challenges, provide tools and promote learning.
We offer tutoring in both high school physics (regular and AP) and college-level physics in areas of mechanics, heat, and electric circuits. Working with the student, teacher, and parents, our highly skilled tutors can identify challenges, provide tools and promote learning.
We offer test preparation for students in grades 6-12, including those undertaking undergraduate collegiate work (up to the vector calculus level). Entrance exams we can help with include the Entry Level Mathematics (ELM), the Test for Admission into Catholic High Schools (TACHS), the High School Placement Test (HSPT), the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT), and the American College Test (ACT),
We specialize in serving students who have existing IEP’s and/or are under Section 504 — including advocating for them in school meetings and working collaboratively with teachers.
